I received a quote that was lower than most competitors to be charged more than double the amount they originally quoted me for. When people picked up my items, they were slamming boxes that were labeled fragile and tossing them into the truck while they were yelling at each other.

Come to delivery, I had little to no communication from the vendor and my items came past the original date they had promised me (by a week). Items were damaged, wet (??), and scratched. I still to this day am missing items and no one at the company has gotten back to me.

Save yourself your mental sanity.

My crew on move day was fantastic! We had two pickup locations, one storage unit and a 4 bedroom house approximately 15 miles away. Our formen packed all the boxes, televisions, wrapped all the furniture in blankets and boxes up china from our cabinets. Our delivery took only 3 days from Brooklyn to Boston. At delivery we had the same crew members stage the entire home and put al of furniture back together, in the rooms that we instructed them to. Recommending to anyone needing a mover!

Where to begin. Beyond unprofessional. I paid for assured delivery and that did not happen. When I called, I was told "Some people have cancer so your problems aren't that bad" Run FAR away from this company. Truly abhorrent. My things were delivered 2 weeks after the initial delivery date after they had already held my items for 2 weeks. They broke all my ceramic and glass items, my couch was delivered with stains on it, and they did not screw any of the pieces of my bed together and just put the mattress down so it looked correct. They charged me for the space I didn't use in the truck, and charged me for padding supplies for fragile items even though it was supposed to be included. They were beyond rude and the delivery driver smoked in my bathroom and threw his cigarette butts in my toilet and DIDN'T EVEN FLUSH. This was truly a nightmare and I hope this review helps someone stay far, far away from this company. Truly terrible.

I used GMR to move my family from Hoboken, New Jersey back to Colombus Ohio. They gave us a call and a quote over the phone and the price was the best one I had gotten so we decided to try them. They were excellent! They came in and wrapped all of the furniture and packed our boxes all within a couple of hours. They just finished dropping everything off here and they put all of our beds back together and no damage was done to any furniture. I was stressed out about this move until these guys came in and did a fantastic job. I'm so happy I found these guys and will be using them again in the future

These guys were absolutely fantastic. We had built our own house about 45 minutes away from our old house and had to put our items in a storage facility while we were finishing up. We put the items in storage ourselves and just basically jammed things in there with no organization st all. GMR came to the storage place and loaded everything up and brought it to the house, put together all of our furniture like the beds and the dressers and put everything where my wife wanted it. So glad I gave them a call instead of doing it myself. These guys were amazing. I’ll be recommending them to my friends if they ever need to move !

Very professional company. I am so happy I used these guys to get me and my wife’s furniture down to Boca Raton Florida. I retired this past year and me and my wife are moving down to Florida to enjoy the rest of our lives in the sunshine. I was told by a friend to give GMR a call, I was reluctant because they were based in New Jersey but I chose to go with them for their great pricing and I haven’t been disappointed yet. They were very informative and friendly and kept my wife in the loop on where our furniture was. They just delivered it on Sunday and no damage as far as I can tell. They even put everything where we wanted it. Great company amazing price.!!

I had to move down to Virginia this past week and chose to use these guys instead of doing it on my own. The reason being. I live on the 4th floor and didn’t want to break any of my furniture if I had done it myself. I found them online and gave them a call and they assured me they could do the job easily and not break anything. They kept to their word. All in all it took them about 2 1/2 hours to have everything packed up and loaded into their truck. When they got here in Virginia 4 days later they were just as efficient unloading as they were loading. They saved me and my back a ton of hassle. Fantastic Job GMR ! ! !

I have gotten the runaround they came really late. They upped my price tremendously and I even took things off the two companies that are running together. Just give you the runaround. The other one is called a star line van lines. Will not tell me where my items are located. All they keep telling me is it will be delivered in a week. They are a scam. Do not use this company and I don’t even know if I’ll be getting my items because they’re not here yet and they better not be broken.

Showed up a couple days late to pick up furniture. Changed prices a couple times (increasing price each time). Despite multiple calls and telling us they would be here “next week” didn’t show up until almost 2 months later, only to deliver half of the furniture. They stated the other half was on another truck. Furniture that was delivered was broken and beat all to hell. Still to this day have not received other furniture. They are avoiding calls or when they do answer state it will be “next week”. Next week rolls around and they say they had a “hiccup”. One or two “hiccups” are acceptable, 30 times are lies. They lie a lot. In my opinion they are a scam of a company. Do not use if you want all your belongings and you want them in good shape. Family member who is a vascular surgeon, has spoken with an attorney. He has plenty of money to pursue and is very angry with how his parents have been treated.

DO NOT USE THIS SCAM MOVING COMPANY!!! I was quoted a price from a broker Van Fargo. At the time I didn’t know they were brokers. On moving day, I was told they would arrive between noon-2pm. They showed up at 4 pm. I paid for 20 boxes to be packed and they packed 2. And didn’t even pack up the kitchen as requested. They ruined my walls and wood flooring, they were rough with my furniture, broke several pieces, put stuff in the truck I told them NOT to put on, didn’t load up the items on my list until I told them. One driver requested I go get them drinks and I got one some food!!! Electrical cords from both my Roku devices were yanked from the wall and destroyed completely. One guy left a foot print on my TV stand! They finish, give me a price which was way more then estimated! They said it was because they packed more on the truck. I specifically told them not to load certain boxes if it was gonna put me over. Once again, they didn’t listen! I went over because they loaded the truck with things I didn’t want to even take! I couldn’t get my Zelle app to work so I asked if it could wait till we got to my new place. Once at the new place, I was hit up immediately for the money. Guess what??? It was hundreds of dollars more! They didn’t add a thing and yet moving from point A to B the price went up??? I argued about the price and not knowing all the furniture they broke yet! He said if I didn’t pay, they would leave with my stuff! By this time it’s nearly 1 am. I have guys running around asking me questions, my kiddo is exhausted and wanting me and yet the lead guy is demanding payment. I paid him just to get my stuff out and then gone! Plus, the guy said the guys needed tipped. No pressure but….the tips really help us out he said. I felt because I am a single mom and a woman they took advantage of me. The movers didn’t listen to me about what to take or not take. Now, I call to get the repairs fixed and no one returns my call. That’s poor business ethic right there. Do NOT use this company. MAJOR SCAMMERS! They rent Penske trucks! I couldn’t done that and paid much less! I was promised services that I didn’t get!

If you come to use this company RUN!!!! My move was only 333 miles, they left nearly 15 items behind, saying i was over my cubic square feet, they never showed me my space in the truck, Left a deal of furniture that was on the inventory list behind, then tried to get me to pay them under the table to take a cabinet, they delivered 2 days asking for more money before i could get what stuff they took, they said on pick up they don't what the contract says, they go by what their bosses say, they damaged my refrigerator, they damaged my TV , They every piece of my bedroom furniture, and now they want to offer me 125.00... Are they out of their minds? For the damages'? And then the furniture they were supposed to take was all left behind, oh they offered to go get it for an additional 500 to 700 dollars, These people need to be run out of town, These brokers need to look at who they are hiring to do this. And I will write a review on them, I've had enough.

The manager James, came and did my estimate. He was thorough but I was not as thorough as he was so I hadn't yet decided for sure what I wanted him to pack. Therefore they did not bring enough boxes to pack everything but that was my fault. What they did pack and move they did a superb job in both in timeliness and care. After the movers complete, they determined that the estimate that I paid in full on delivery was more than the actual cost should have been, so I was issued a refund. Very happy with them and strongly recommend

If I could give a zero I would. To start off the time it take for you to receive your items takes to long, I waited 3 months to receive everything. I called close to the due dates they would give me and they kept pushing it saying next week. They will ignore your called and emails. I had missing and broken items when things arrived. To get reimbursed will take another 2 months. after calling almost everyday and emailing them back to back they finally paid. For long distance I would NOT recommend your better off getting a uhal and breaking your back, I can’t speak for short distance though.

Emanuel !! moved my belongings from a two bedroom apartment to a storage unit about 5 miles away. They took a little over three hours. I had a few large pieces that needed to be wrapped and he wrapped them nicely and securely. And there were some loose items that they boxes for me as well. My storage was packed efficiently and carefully. I didn't have to worry about this move like I thought I would thanks to Emanuel . I will be using them to move my belongings again when I'm ready...highly recommend!
